Sennheiser MX W1 First Wireless Earphones Using Kleer's Technology

Sennheiser MX W1 First Wireless Earphones Using Kleer's Technology

Sennheiser goes on Kleer's wireless transmission technology which has been shown promise in terms of both energy efficiency and sound quality when compared to Bluetooth. The MX W1 stereo headphones combine the new digital transmission technology with high-quality dynamic systems and Sennheiser’s twist-to-fit system that keeps earphones securely and comfortably in your ear.

"The transmitter is only the size of a matchbox and transmits CD quality music", said Product Manager Sven Wilhelmsen, also Kleer products are fully compatible with one another. For example, an MP3 player with Kleer technology can transmit straight to our earphones without to add the MX W1 transmitter between.

The MX W1 will be available from May 2008 and from Engadget we know the price should be something like $600.
