CES Update: Sonneteer Morpheus

While I put together the photos from the show today and gather all information you are looking for, I will post this snippet. I talked at length today with Remo from Sonneteer about their great Morpheus music centre. This is a cool audiophile grade product that is versatile and very well thought out. The Morpheus definitely has a place in high end audio. What is the Morpheus? It is called a music centre. It has a built-in amp and interfaces with among other things a networked music collection. The unit connects to your network with an ethernet cable of via wireless 802.11 b/g. Once connected you can browse a network share containing unlimited music. The Morpheus is a great looking product with a really nice navigation "ball" right on the front. As you use certain features like switching between inputs some of the limited buttons on the front go dark. This is very intuitive because these buttons will have no function in the active mode (CD, Internet radio, media player etc...). More information to follow about this product.
